Monday Night Dive

Here are a few more shots from last night's dive with Nick. Eventhough we have had a fair bit of rain and the Comoro River is pumping tons of silt into the water, Sandy Bottom remains clear most of the time.

Marionia

I think this is the same individual of Marionia that we spotted four days ago. Still not certain of the species name, but it appears very similar to an unnamed species in Debilius' book. I plan to send this to the Sea Slug Forum for proper identification.

Cuttlefish Eating a Shrimp

The cuttlefish twisted the shrimp around and seemed to suck out its insides from behind. After about 15 seconds, the cuttlefish ejected the shrimp into the water.
